For our Beijing team, we are looking for a Senior Architectural Designer to be part of a talented team on a high-profile architectural commission through all design stages from concept through construction.

Responsible for overseeing a main part of this complex mixed-use project, you will have a strong understanding of both architectural design development and project management, to successfully lead part of the entire process of realizing an ambitious and innovative architectural concept into built reality true to design intent.

You will represent and communicate the project both internally and externally with a strong sensitivity to our design approach and with a sense of technical proficiency. You will be closely communicating with the Client and all consultants, and ensure clarity throughout the design and construction processes.

Qualifications:
• You have an excellent academic background with a Master in Architecture or equivalent.
• Your track record encompasses at least 8 years post-qualification in-depth involvement in design-led, complex, medium-to-large-scale mixed-use projects through all stages of design and construction, with emphasis of senior-level involvement in the realization of one or more High-rises.
• You have worked in an internationally or nationally acclaimed architectural firm, and paired architectural design sensitivity with technical and managerial knowledge, and are able to communicate design and experience precisely and comprehensibly.
• You excel in a dynamic work environment, enjoy the responsibility of leading and managing a team, and have exemplary time management and delivery skills.
• You are literate in AutoCAD and Adobe CS, ideally also in Revit and Rhino.
• Mandarin fluency is a key requirement and English fluency a plus.

We are looking for an experienced Architectural Designer specialized in Cultural Tourism projects to join our Beijing Office. Your role will range from the research and conceptualization to the design development of high-profile Cultural Tourism related projects in spectacular settings –from the Master-planning of Nature-based Resorts and Culture-themed Villages to the Architectural design of Hotels, Villas, Experience Centers, Museums, Workshops, Retail Pavilions, Communal Amenities to Spiritual Spaces in such contexts, through all design stages from concept through construction.

You will have a strong understanding of both architectural design development and project management. You will represent and communicate the project both internally and externally with a strong sensitivity to our design approach. You will collaborate productively with your team and ensure clarity throughout the design and construction processes.

Qualifications:
• You have an excellent academic background with a Master in Architecture or equivalent.
• Your track record encompasses at least 5 years post-qualification in-depth involvement in high-profile cultural tourism projects through all stages of design and construction.
• You have strong understanding of cultural tourism related masterplans, architecture, space-making, material culture with a contemporary understanding of the connection between a tourism context and architecture design strategies.
• You have worked in an internationally acclaimed architectural firm, and paired architectural design sensitivity with technical and managerial knowledge, and are able to communicate design and experience precisely and comprehensibly.
• You excel in a dynamic work environment, and have exemplary time management and delivery skills.

We are currently offering full-time Architectural Internships. We are looking for talented students or recent graduates who are enthusiastic and seek experience in a thought-provoking environment. Candidates are expected to participate in multiple aspects of the project process, including presentations, submission packages, digital and physical study models.

Internships are typically offered for a period of 6-12 months.

Minimum requirements:
• Enrollment in a degree program for architecture, landscape architecture or interior design.
• Strong graphic, image-making and design talent.
• Excellent digital model-making skills.
• Excellent AutoCAD, Rhino, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign skills.
• Fluency in spoken English.
• Strong ability in Maya and Grasshopper is a plus.
• Strong ability in Premiere and After Effects is a plus.
• Strong ability in sustainability is a plus. This includes, knowledge of sustainability principles, understanding of climate data, and use of Ladybug for analysis in performance-driven design.
• Strong ability in physical model-making for in-house study models is a plus. This includes, understanding of workflow from 3d digital model to 3d printing, ability to combine precision-cut outsourced parts for final assembly, use of inventive materials and model photography.
